- Katia Dalila, freelance Ballet Teacher of Russian descent, was born in Lima, Peru and completed her ballet dancing training based on the Vaganova method at the “Escuela Nacional Superior de Ballet”.
- As a member of the ballet ensemble, she danced at the National Ballet in Lima as well as in various engagements for the television ballet and in musicals during her studies for a diploma as a ballet teacher.
- Further training in classical ballet with Vera Nemchinova, in Modern Dance with Martha Graham in NYC and in Jazz Dance with Gus Giordano in Chicago followed. In Europe, she took further classes in other techniques e.g. ISTD, Contact Impro and Seminars for Ballet Teachers under Professor Nikita Alexandrowitsch Dolguschin.
- In 1978, she founded her first ballet school in Altdorf near Nuremberg. Then in 1982 she set up her first ballet studio "Ballettschule Katia Goregliad" in Ansbach/Franken. Until 1992, she appeared successfully with both ballet schools in Classical, Neoclassical and Modern Ballet, Jazz Dance and Dance Theatre, also in cooperation with professional dancers.
- Later on she moved to Norway where, amongst other activities, she taught and choreographed Ballet and Jazz Dance at the Ullensaker Music Academy.
- Back in Germany, she had to reduce the training for several years for health reasons. In the meantime, she has recovered and is continuing her pedagogical work.
